Bucktown returns Friday, Oct. 17

We’re excited to welcome touring singer/songwriter Jordan Messerole for his first visit to Bucktown.

Jordan, a multi-award winning songwriter, is an Americana musician from Iowa's capital city, Des Moines. From the depths of his Iowa roots, Messerole masterfully blends the sounds of his guitar with engaging lyrics, and often a harmonica, to tell gritty American tales that are bound to evoke emotion from all of his listeners. Jordan’s songwriting has earned him comparisons to John Prine, Jason Isbell, and John Hiatt.

The Bucktown Americana Music Show returns 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17, to the Rock Island Library Watts-Midtown Branch Theater, 2715 30th St., Rock Island.
